They say in Hindi, “Ek noor aadmi, dus noor kapada.” Well this sounds sensible too. We all wear clothes and enjoy the feel, the color, texture of our clothing. Clothing leaves an impact or impression about the wearer onto the mind of people whom we meet. The clothes we wear speak a lot about our personality and nature. Many times clothing works on a psychological level too.

What we wear can make up or spoil our psyche. Clothing and in actual word, the texture, feel, or quality of the fabric we are wearing controls our behavior in many situations. A mercerized cotton shirt feels the most comfortable casual or formal wear due to the soft feel and the smooth texture of the material. On a hot scorching sunny day we won’t wear woolen wear as we all know it will make our body more perspired. On a chill winter night we will definitely opt for a warm overcoat to go out. At a funeral wearing colorful clothes will make the wearer feel the most uncomfortable. Can we imagine a saint wearing silk robes? All that we wear reflects our real inner.

Sometimes people deliberately wear very ill-fitted types of clothes. Met gala is an event where celebrities from film and music industries come together and flaunt their arts costumes. Many of the costumes are tremendously creative but lots of them are trolled due to the avant-garde style. Well they are deliberately designed though. The main motive behind wearing these types of dresses is to pop out from the crowd and it is achieved by many celebrities. They have a different perception of fashion. But this is the case for special events.

In general or day to day life no one carries this avant-garde fashion not even those celebrities. When it comes to daily wear or casual wear the most important point is comfort. As we have to move, run, bend, lift, walk and to work, our clothing should allow us to do all these activities freely. This will happen only when we choose our clothing wisely. From fabric to fitting and from texture to silhouette everything is matter here. Close fitted or very tight fitted garments can’t even make our skin breath then movement becomes a task wearing them. Again the types of fabric matter here, though the garment is tight fitted but the material is stretchable, it can provide the comfort. For example gym wears, they are fitted but stretchable hence relaxing. If gym wear garments are too exposing then again it will become uneasy to move around wearing it. A sagging loose neckline could make a women uncomfortable to gym especially in a unisex gym. So this can be a point to be taken care of while choosing the garment.

We should be more careful while choosing clothes for kids. The clothes must have to be skin friendly in all respects. Silhouettes should be easy to carry for kids to wear. The trims used in their garments must not be harmful to their delicate skin. Fabrics should be airy enough. Soft and smooth texture of clothes won’t harm their mood and their growth will not be hindered.

Well, what to war and what not to is a very personal phenomenon and it changes from person to person. But it is always better to choose what to wear by keeping our social and economic status in mind. Your clothes become assets for you if you wear it at the appropriate place and in a proper manner.
